Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Jitender Kumar adjourned the hearing in the case in which, besides Balyan, MP Bhartendu Singh, MLAsSangeet Som and Suresh Rana and VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi are also named as accused.
The court also exempted the accused from being present in person during the hearing for today.
The accused are facing charges under various sections of the IPC, including for violation of prohibitory orders.
It is alleged that those who had attended the 'maha panchayat' at Nagla Mandaur village here, had incited violence through their speeches, leading to the riots which claimed 62 lives in 2013.
