Heat wave abates, humidity level increases in Rajasthan

Influx of moisture from the Arabian sea subdued the heat wave in Rajasthan as Mercury dipped by two to three notches at most places in the state.
Kota was the hottest place with maximum temperature touching 41.6 degree Celsius, according to the Meteorological department.
High humidity in most parts of the state affected normal life and Jaisalmer recorded maximum at 41.5 deg C followed by Jaipur, Barmer and Bikaner at 40.5 deg C each.
Thunderstorm with rain may occur at isolated places in the state in the next 24 hours, a forecast said.
