A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled tomorrow and recommend the schedule to the President.
The indications so far are that the Railways Budget is expected on July 9 and the Economic Survey the next day.
The session is expected to be a month-long affair and its highlight will be presentation of the budget, the first by the Narendra Modi government.
The vote-on-account budget approved by the previous Parliament ends on July 31 and a new budget has to be in place before that date.
Naidu had also said that the election of Deputy Speaker will take place during the Budget session.
Ordinances promulgated recently in the wake of division of Andhra Pradesh and the one facilitating the appointment of former TRAI chief Nripendra Misra as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister will be taken up during the session.
