North-western regions of the state are reeling under severe heat wave conditions with mercury roaring about five degrees Celsius above normal, the report said.
Kota was another city that experienced the season's maximum temperature of 44.5 degrees Celsius, while Barmer and Churu were at 43.6 degrees Celsius.
Elsewhere, the maximum temperature was above 40 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state. Western regions of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Churu, Bikaner and Srigangangar remained in the grip of the blistering heat wave.
