Sono region in Jamui district recorded the highest rainfall at seven cm, followed by six cm each in Bhabhua and Kudra, while Sherghati region in Gaya witnessed five cm rain, it said.
Jhajha, Gaya, Rajauli each received four cm of rainfall, while three cm rain was recorded in Jamui and Garhi areas.
Among major places, Gaya witnessed 39.2 mm of rainfall followed by 17 mm in Purnia, 13.3 mm in Patna and 8.5 mm in Bhagalpur, the MET office said.
Bhagalpur was the most humid place with humidity level at 81 per cent followed by 78 per cent in Gaya, 77 per cent in Patna and 76 per cent in Purnia.
The MET office has forecast a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in Bihar over the next 24 hours.
