Four persons were washed away since Sunday as heavy rains are lashing the district, authorities said today.
Several rivers and streams in the district are in flood.
The district has recorded an average 299 mm of rainfall in the current season, while 40.33 mm of rainfall was recorded since yesterday, Met department officials said.
Vikas Anil Aglave (19), Vinod Laxman Vilal (35) at Banshi in Pusad tehsil, Sunil Subhash Bhoyar (27) at Pettur in Wani tehsil and Anil Moreshwar Pawar (26) at Kondi in Kelapur tehsil were washed away in flooded nullahs.
Their bodies have been fished out, district officials said.
The Painganga and Nirguda rivers are high at some places in the district, officials said.
