Heavy rains lash HP

Himachal Pradesh today.

Palampur in Kangra received 32 mm rains, followed by 29 mm in Shimla, 28 mm in Kasouli and 21 mm each in Kandaghat and Sangrah.

Una recorded a high of 32.8 degree Celsius, followed by Sundernagar at 32.6 deg C, Dharamsala 30.6 deg C and Nahan 28.7 deg C.

The state capital Shimla settled at a high of 21.9 deg C.

Bhuntar at 34 deg C was hottest in the region.

The MeT office forecast widespread rains in the region with heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places in the state tomorrow.
