"The Telugu cinema actor with a huge fan following across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala will play an integral role in further augmenting Hero MotoCorp's strong foothold in the southern Indian markets, in addition to promoting the brand at a pan-national level as well," Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
The company will soon launch a new multimedia campaign featuring Allu Arjun with the 125 cc Glamour motorcycle. The TVC, conceptualised by JWT, has been shot in Thailand, it said.
In 2014, Hero MotoCorp roped in 14-time Golf major champion Tiger Woods as its first global corporate partner.
The company also signed Indian hockey captain Sardar Singh and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as its brand ambassadors last year.
