The drug was recovered from the house of Raman Pandit, who was supplied the contraband by a Pakistan-based smuggler Akram Dayal, IGP (Border) Ishwar Chander said here.
Chander said the seizure has been made after the interrogation of Pandit who was arrested on July 5 along with co-accused Bhajan Singh with 12 kg heroin valued at Rs 60 crore, he said.
Pandit, a resident of Delhi, was the "end-recipient" of the drugs supplied under the racket.
He had acquired this consignment of heroin about three months ago and was yet to dispose it. The consignment was cleverly hidden in the shoe-rack of an almirah in his house in Lok Vihar, Pritampura, New Delhi.
