The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested two persons and seized 670 gram of heroin with an estimated market value of Rs 70 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off, two persons, identified as Yaqub Khan (50) and Firoz Khan (22), were arrested yesterday from an Indore-bound bus from Udaipur near Navadapanth in the district, a senior NCB official told PTI.
According to the official, the duo had concealed the prohibited substance inside the sole of their footwears.
The accused told the police that they were supposed to carry the drugs to Nagpur.
