In a star-studded rally on election eve here, the First Lady joined her husband President Barack Obama to rally voters a final time in support of the 69-year-old former secretary of state.
Clinton, accompanied by her husband Bill and daughter Chelsea, addressed thousands of supporters in the historic city hours before America headed to the polls.
Michelle was her charming self as she exhorted voters to go out and make their vote count, saying the nation is "one day away from making history and we have the chance to elect someone who is singularly qualified to be president - our friend, Hillary Clinton".
Attacking trump, Michelle said the nation deserves a leader who will respect its daughters and show its sons that true men are compassionate and respectful.
"We deserve a leader who will ensure that our daughters are safe and respected. And that our sons understand that truly strong men are compassionate and kind. We deserve a leader who sees the dignity and humanity in all of us... We deserve a leader who sees our diversity not as a threat, but as a blessing," she said.
"This election is on us.
"If we get out and vote tomorrow, Hillary Clinton will win. If we stay home or play around with a protest vote, Hillary's opponent will win - period," she said.
Michelle struck an emotional chord with the crowd, saying "speaking here...Is perhaps the last and most important thing I can do for my country as first lady.
"And let me just take a moment to thank you, to thank the people of this country for giving our family the extraordinary honor of serving as your first family," she said.
