The Himachal Assembly today adjourned sine die after a month-long budget session.
The session had 17 sittings and besides annual budget for 2018-19 and supplementary budget for 2017-18, eight bills, including the Appropriation Bill, related to the budget were passed.
The budget, presented by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, who also holds the finance portfolio, was presented on March 9 and passed on March 29.
Several important issues like the monkey menace and the decline in enrolment in government schools were discussed during the session.
In his concluding remarks, Speaker Rajiv Bindal said 720 starred and 129 un-starred questions were answered during the session while six issues were raised through calling attention motions and four issues through special mention.
