Hisar hottest place in Haryana at 41.5 deg C

Maximum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana, including Chandigarh, today hovered a few degrees above normal limits, with Hisar again turning out to be hottest at 41.5 degrees Celsius.
Hisar in Haryana was hotter by three degrees above normal, while Ambala too braved a hot day at 39.4 deg C, up two notches, the MeT Department said here.
Karnal recorded a high of 39.4 deg C, also two notches more than normal while Chandigarh was hotter by two degrees above normal at 38.6 deg C.
In Punjab, Ludhiana residents experienced a hot day at 39.5 deg C, up one notch while Amritsar's maximum settled at 38.4 deg C, one degree above normal.
Patiala's maximum settled at 39.4 deg C, two degrees more than normal.
