The company had sold 4,53,884 units in the same month last year, HMSI said in a statement.
In the domestic market, sales grew 19.18 per cent to 5,11,939 units last month as against 4,29,551 units in July 2016, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the sales, HMSI Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said: "Honda's commitment to the market and its customers has helped us achieve double digit growth."
The company witnessed its highest ever exports at 32,569 units in July, a growth of 34 per cent as against 24,333 units in the same period of the previous fiscal.
"In July, Honda exports reached an all-time high monthly exports," he added.
