Home Credit expanding to touch one lakh stores by 2020

Leading non-banking financial company Home Credit India Finance Pvt Ltd is aiming to expand its presence across India by establishing one lakh stores by 2020, a senior company official said today.
The company has a strong network of over 20,000 Points of Sales (PoS) at present in the country, where it services over five million customers through an employee base of over 19,000 in 100 cities in 20 states, Home Credit India Chief Sales Officer Artem Popov told reporters here.
The company has also lined up ambitious plans in Tamil Nadu, targeting its PoS network to 2,000 from the present 700 by the end of 2018, he said.

To support the expansion, the company plans to ramp up its employee base by hiring 100 people more next year, which would touch 500 from the current 390, Popov said.
