Addressing a rally in Zainabad after inaugurating 15 projects and laying foundation stones of others including the Rs 34-crore Rao Birender Singh State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hooda claimed his government has already spent about Rs 886 crore on development in this constituency.
Rubbishing negligence claims made by opposition parties and rebel Congress MP from Gurgaon Inderjit Singh, the chief minister referred to the developmental projects in the southern part of the state and said that many significant projects have been implemented in this area.
The chief minister further claimed that during the last nine years, his government has implemented several projects for the welfare of all sections of the society and overall development of the state.
He appreciated Kosli MLA Rao Yaduvendra Singh, younger brother of Rao Inderjit Singh for their efforts for the development of the area.
Hooda also claimed that the previous INLD government had spent only Rs 457 crore on the development of Rewari, while his government has already spent about Rs 3567 crore.
Meanwhile, Rao Yaduvendra Singh rubbished rumours about he quitting Congress and said that he has always had Hooda's support.
