"They (INLD leaders) have ensured their own development rather than that of the people," he said addressing a party rally here.
Earlier, Hooda inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects at a cost of Rs 380 crore. Out of this, projects of Rs 358 crore were for the Dabwali seat.
He announced a slew of incentives for the people of Dabwali, including status of Sub Tehsil to Goriwala village and Sub Division to Kalanwali.
He announced to set up a food processing unit in Abub Shahar on PPP mode, and announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh to the Dabwali Bar Association, Rs 10 crore for the development of villages of Dabwali Assembly Constituency and Rs 5 crore for the development of Dabwali town.
Taking a dig at the previous INLD government, Hooda said that "it is right that development has taken place during their tenure but ironically they have ensured their own development and not that of the people of the state".
"They are creating false propaganda just to cover up their misdeeds," he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress general secretary Shakeel Ahmed said it was a matter of pride that "today Haryana has become a leading state in the country in almost all spheres." "It was being propagated that Gujarat is leading in development but in reality Haryana is far ahead of Gujarat on many fronts," he added.
