Speaking on the sidelines of the Budget session of the Assembly, Hooda accused the opposition of presenting "wrong facts" before the people.
Hooda presented his figures to prove that "uniform development" had taken place all over the state.
Hooda's statements came amid allegations from opposition and some of his own party members that the government has been selective in allotting development projects.
On charges of Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh, who floated a non-political outfit Haryana Insaaf Manch yesterday, he said nothing could be done when there are "vested interests" involved.
Describing Haryana as "one of the best financially-managed states" in the country, Hooda said that the state's per capita plan budget was Rs 10,446 whereas it was Rs 8,380 in Gujarat.
