Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said horticulture and floriculture would be promoted across the state to improve the economic conditions of the farmers.
Khattar said the state government has decided to promote cultivation of fruit and flower crops within 100-kilometre radius of Delhi.
"Work is underway on an action plan for cultivating more crops with less water in Haryana on the pattern of Israel," he said.
The state government is also making efforts to ensure that each farmer earns Rs one lakh per acre, he said.
