Police said the youth, posing as courier boys, entered the house when the managing director Kawaljeet, along with his family, was out and his mother, along with the servant, identified as Raju, was present.
"Raju opened the door and the boys told him that they had got a parcel. The moment Raju extended his hand to take the parcel, he was overpowered by the accused who then threatened to shoot him," said a police officer.
Hearing the commotion, Kawaljeet's mother woke up and saw Raju tied. She then untied him but the robbers had fled by then.
Based on a complaint, police have registered a case in this regard.
