House collapses in Doda, six persons feared trapped

At least six persons were feared trapped after a house collapsed due to a landslide caused by heavy rainfall in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
"A house has collapsed in a village, nearly five kilometres from Dessa, in Doda. The fate of six inmates is not known yet," an official of the police control room at Doda said.
He said rescue teams including police personnel have been rushed to the spot.
A district administration official said the incident has taken place in a remote area of the district.
"The details are awaited," he added.
