Southwest Airlines officials say Flight No 43 was travelling from Dallas to Houston.
The flight returned to Dallas after receiving a cockpit indication that there was a pressurisation issue. There were 143 passengers and five crew members on the flight.
Officials say the pilot completed a safe landing, and the aircraft is being taken out of service for inspection. They are currently working with customers to get them to Houston on a different aircraft.
On Tuesday evening, a Southwest Airlines flight heading to Houston made an unscheduled landing in Jackson, Mississippi, after another "pressurisation issue," which caused oxygen masks to deploy.
Yesterday, Southwest said in a statement that Flight 214 had left Atlanta on Tuesday evening when the problem occurred.
The plane was carrying 118 passengers and five crew members; it landed safely in Jackson and was taken out of service.
The passengers were later transferred to another plane that flew them into Houston yesterday.
