'How I Met Your Mother' to come up with alternate ending

Dissatisfied fans of the recently concluded hit TV show, 'How I Met Your Mother' may be able to see a different ending in the show's DVD series.
Carter Bays, the executive producer of the show has revealed that they had two scripts with different endings, out of which only one was shot, reported AceShowbiz.
"Few days ago today we were in the HIMYM edit room, trying to decide between two very different endings. We only shot one script, but through edit room magic we had two possible outcomes for the series," he said.
"We chose the ending we chose and we stand by it. But we loved the other version too," he added.

The show that ended after nine seasons last week saw Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor coming together with his longtime friend Robin Scherbatsky played by Cobie Smulders.
The alternate ending will be a part of the next DVD set of the sitcom series.
