HP govt appointed 44 persons on political posts in last 2 yrs

Himachal Pradesh government has appointed 44 officials on political posts during past two years of his rule, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said here today.
A sum of Rs 3,03,88,866 has been spent on them till Aug 7, 2014, he said in a written reply to Vidhan Sabha.
The appointments included 26 chairmen and vice chairmen of various boards and commissions, 15 OSDs (officer on special duty) and two advisors.
