The names of these officers were cleared at the meeting of the screening committee held on Tuesday while three posts of Additional Secretaries were created by the government one month ago.
Principal Secretary Revenue and Forests Tarun Shridhar, Principal Secretary PWD Narender Chauhan, and Principal Secretary Power and Education P C Dhiman have been promoted as Additional Chief Secretaries, a notification issued by the government said.
With their promotion, all IAS officers of 1984 batch stand promoted and the number of Additional chief secretaries has increased to eight, while former chief secretary had been posted as adviser to the government at Delhi in the same rank.
