World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has taken down the majority of mentions and video of Hulk Hogan from its official website and stores after a radio interview featuring him using a racial slur several times in a 2012 radio interview.
Hogan was removed from the WWE Hall of Fame page and all of his merchandise was taken down from WWEShop.Com, reported People magazine.
The radio interview between Hogan and DJ Whoo Kid, where he described conversations between fellow WWE wrestler Booker T, surfaced on Thursday.
He used the objectionable term several more times.
The latest controversy swirling around Hogan comes as he is about to go to trial against Gawker in a USD 100 million lawsuit against the site over the release of a sex tape featuring the wrestling star.
