A 35-kilometre long human chain was organised at Kadapa today, on the 51st day of the ongoing agitation against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to create the proposed separate state of Telengana.
Non-political activists organised a huge human chain around the Ring Road of Kadapa town, in which a large number of employees, teachers, students, workers, AP Road Transport Corporation employees, women and farmers participated.
Participants stayed on for two hours from 10 am to 12 noon, raising slogans for a "united" Andhra Pradesh.
