Humid conditions in Delhi

High humid conditions prevailed in the national capital making life tough for Delhiites even as the day temperature remained below the 35 degree mark following heavy overnight rains.
During the last 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM, Safdarjung observatory, figure of which is considered the official for the city, recorded 45.2 mm rainfall while weather stations at Palam, Lodhi road, Ridge and Ayanagar received 7.8 mm, 56.8 mm, 66.5 and 1.9 mm rainfall respectively.
Between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM today, Palam recorded 19.3 mm rainfall, said a Met Department official.
Humidity on the higher side was recorded at 100 per cent while on the lower side it hovered at 67 per cent.
The weather office has predicted overcast conditions along with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers for tomorrow.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. There is likelihood of light rain and thunderstorm tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at around 34 and 24 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
