Humid morning in Delhi, mercury expected to soar

Delhiites experienced a humid morning today with the mercury expected to be seven notches above the normal.
"The minimum temperature at 8.30 am was 14.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal," an MeT official said.
The humidity level was recorded at 87 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted a hot day ahead with possibility of the mercury touching the 33 degrees Celsius mark.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average while the maximum had settled at 31 degrees Celsius, four notches above the normal.
