Humidity down, mercury up in Delhi

Humidity levels eased in Delhi today giving respite to people from the unbearable weather witnessed in the last few days even as mercury remained above normal levels.
According to the Met department, humidity levels oscillated between 53 and 77 per cent, down from the above 80 per cent levels recorded in the last few days.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal.
There was no rainfall in the city today, the Met department said.
The weatherman predicted overcast skies with possibility of light rains for tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 32 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
