In city where temples have been beautifully decked up, devotees started pouring in from the wee hours to the Govind Devji temple where Janmashtami celebrations started from August 20.
The temple is the centre of attraction among pilgrims and therefore elaborate arrangements for security and crowd management have been made.
"Large number of people are visiting the temple at a time amid tight security arrangement," police said.
Main celebration will take place in the midnight in all the temples. Other temples in the city have also been decorated with flowers and special lightings for the Janmashtami celebration.
