The 29-year-old 'Complicated' singer and her new husband have been enjoying married life since tying the knot in July, and the Nickelback rocker made sure to gush about his wife's cooking, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"I could burn water, but she's an amazing cook," Kroeger said.
Lavigne remained modest about her culinary skills.
"I just go with the flow and kinda see what's in the fridge and then start," she said.
Kroeger continued to praise his spouse, claiming that she cooks so well he enjoys every bite, and doesn't need a pet to help get rid of unpleasant meals.
