The accused identified as Kali Charan alias Kallu has been arrested, police said.
The body of the deceased, identified as Bubbly was discovered by her brother Bhole Shankar at the couple's home this morning after he reached there following a call from Kali Charan.
Shankar told police that Bubbly's husband had called him saying that his sister was not well. But when he reached the spot he found her dead.
"After the incident was reported to us, a police team rushed to the spot and Kali Charan was arrested from the house. He confessed to his crime," said a police official.
