Hyderabad cops bust illegal money transfer racket

A 'hawala' (illegal money transfer) racket has been busted with police seizing Rs one crore and arresting five people here.

The East Zone Task Force unearthed the racket on Friday following a tip.

In another case, two drug peddlers were arrested and some quantities of banned substances seized, an official release said.

The South Zone Task force seized five grams of heroin, 28 stamps of LSDs, 32-ECSTASY (Amphetamine Drug), three kg ganja and twocell phones.
