Hyderabad Winter Race session to start from November 1

The 34-day Hyderabad Winter Race session is scheduled to commence from November 1, 2016 and will conclude on February 24, 2017 with 'Alcock Arabian Million' cup.
The 34-day race session comprises three Tuesdays, 14 Sundays, 16 Mondays and one Saturday, a Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) Prospectus said here today.
Total stake money of Rs 21,21,17,500 has been kept for the winter session. 241 races will be held during the session, which consists of 17 Sweepstakes-Terms, 13 Category I, 114 Category II and 97 Category III races.
Rs 31,56,000 worth value of 103 trophies has been kept for the session.
The main events includes The Golconda Guineas, The Juvenile Million, The Golconda 2000 Guineas, The Mayor's Million, The Deccan Juvenile Million, The Golconda Oaks, the Byerly Turk Million, The Golconda Million, the Hyderabad Juvenile Million, The Darley Arabian Million, The Qutab Shahi Million, The Golconda Derby Stakes, The Kakatiya Million, The Godolphin Barb Million, The Bhagyanagar Novice Handicap Million and The Alcock Arabian Million, it added.
