was run over by a vehicle on Halol-Bodeli state highway in wee hours today.
The hyena seemed to have come from nearby forest and was crossing the road when it was hit.
It was spotted lying on the highway by an employee of state Forest Department.
The officials conducted postmortem of hyena and disposed of the carcass.
