Hyundai contributes Rs 2 cr to the PM's National Relief Fund

Hyundai Motor India contributed Rs 2 crore to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to support rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations for the people affected by the natural calamities in various parts of the country, it said.
The contribution is intended to provide rehabilitation and for restoration of areas that were distraught by the floods and landslides in various states, Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) said in a statement.

Velvetcase.Com raises USD 1 mn from Chennai Angels, others * The Chennai Angels today said its online marketplace for global jewellery designers, Velvetcase.Com, has raised USD 1 million (over Rs 6 crore) funding.
The investment into the company founded in 2012 was led by Kayar Raghavan and Lakshmi Potluri from Chennai Angels and other investors who participated in this round include Jacob Kurian, Jerry Rao and Arihant Patni.
The company was founded by Kapil Hetamsaria (its present CEO) and Runit Shah (the chief operating officer) in 2012, a statement from Chennai Angels said.

Grasim ties up with Amazon to enhance its online reach * Aditya Birla Group's fabric brand Grasim today announced tie-up with e-commerce firm Amazon.In to enhance its online retail presence.
Making rapid advances, Grasim's exclusive line of readymade shirts and special suiting and shirting gift packs will now make an online debut at the aggressive e-tailing platform Amazon.In, the company said in a statement.
It is a strategic partnership which will help Grasim to engage more closely with its digital-age consumers, it added.
Amazon Fashion Category Leader Vikas Purohit said Amazon will ensure that Grasim's complete and current range is exposed to customers in over 1000 Indian towns.
