Hyundai Motor opens new outlet in Chennai

Strengthening its presence in the region, Korean auto-maker Hyundai has inaugurated its 24th dealership -- Vinayak Hyundai Amra Motors, in Tamil Nadu.
The outlet spread across 57,500 square metre is located at 14-15, Grand Southern Trunk (GST) Road, Tambaram Sanatorium, Hyundai Motor India said in a statement.
"Chennai is a significant market for Hyundai and opening of this dealership will strengthen our presence in this region...." Hyundai Motor India, MD and CEO, B S Seo said.
Hyundai Motor India currently has 385 dealerships in the country and 23 outlets in Tamil Nadu. It holds a 16.4 per cent market share in the State, the release added.

Umang Dairies launches liquid milk in Lucknow * Umang Dairies, a JK group company, today said it has launched poly pouched liquid milk under the brand name 'JK milk' in Lucknow.
The new product was launched on January 6 in a bid to expand its product portfolio. "In about 15 days, JK Milk would be available in 2,000 retail outlets in Lucknow," the Uttar Pradesh-based firm said in a BSE filing.
The company is on an expansion mode and aspires to become a significant player in dairy industry. It had launched flavoured milk "Doonz" in May 2013 in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Umang Dairies said it aims to sell "Doonz" in 5,000 retail outlets in NCR from the existing 2,000 and gradually expand across the country.
The company's plant is located in western Uttar Pradesh. Over the year, Umang has build up a village level collection network including chilling centres and collects milk from over 300 villages comprising about 12,000 farmers twice a day.
Umang Dairies has long term tie up with Mother Dairy for milk processing. It sells dairy creamers and powder and exports dairy products to African and Asian countries.
Its other brands include White Magik, Dairy Top, Milk Star Dairy Creamers and Umang Pure Danedar Ghee.

Organic India to open 25 stores in India * Herbal food supplement maker Organic India would open 25 stores in the country in the current year.
Inaugurating the fourth exclusive store of the company in Lucknow, Organic India's MD and CEO Krishna Guptaa said that awareness is increasing among the poeple towards health and providing best product is the effort of the company.
He said this year, the company would open 25 exclusive stores in the country, including 12 in Uttar Pradesh.
Guptaa said that currently Organic India has four such stores, including three in Lucknow and one in Kanpur and two stores each in Allahabad, Agra and Varanasi.
The total business of the company exporting its products to several countries was Rs 150 crore and the target was to take it to Rs 250 crore in the current fiscal.
