The 30-year-old actress, who worked with Salman in Diwali blockbuster "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", said the actor is a great human being and she never wants him to suffer.
"I am happy for him (on court verdict). He is a friend and I don't want any of my friends to suffer. Salman is great human being. The work he does for others. The respect he gives to people does not depends on the social status of the person.
"He is incredibly successful. He can behave anyway he wants to. But, he always stays good to everyone," Sonam said while addressing a session at Agenda Aaj Tak 2015.
"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's success is not because of me. It's because of Salman. His luck is so good that whatever he does becomes huge and successful. I will take credit for only the title track. We made it trend on social media," she said.
