I am not a drug addict: Sky Ferreira

Pop star Sky Ferreira insists she is not an addict following her arrest on drug charges last month.
The 21-year-old 'Everything Is Embarrassing' hitmaker and her Diiv frontman boyfriend Zachary Cole Smith were held in New York after cops pulled over their vehicle and found the rocker to be in possession of heroin.
Ferreira was reportedly arrested for possessing Ecstasy.
However, the singer has accused cops of intentionally targeting the pair, reported Billboard magazine.
"I kind of got messed with... And it's annoying because I wasn't charged with his heroin. It says it. The public records are out there. I wasn't charged with it," Ferreira said.

"Trust me, if I was even anywhere near that, they would've charged me because they had no problem charging me with other things. I'm scared to say more than that because I don't want them to arrest us anymore," she added.
Ferreira is adamant she does not have substance abuse issues and fears the arrest has blighted her public image.
"I know for a fact I'm not a drug addict. That's all I really have to say about it. I know I'm not a drug addict. I'm sorry if it hurt anyone and I'm not trying to promote drugs and it's not like an image thing whatsoever," Ferreira said.
