The 23-year-old singer said she enjoys living her life to the fullest but never got tempted to get involved in controversies, reported Daily Mirror.
Bieber got arrested in Miami for driving under the influence and drag racing in January. He was recently charged with assault for his alleged attack on a limousine driver in Toronto last year.
"I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. If you think about it he's just 19 and people make mistakes at that age. I can imagine loads of boys across the country doing the same thing," Lott said.
The singer said she is not keen to follow in the footsteps of pop star Miley Cyrus, who made headlines for her racy performance at an award function that was followed by her nude video 'Wrecking Ball'.
"Miley wasn't forced into it. She wants to be like that and it works for her. If it's what she wants to do then good luck to her. Everyone has the freedom to do what they want to do. I certainly don't feel any pressure," she said.
