"I was pushed into it. I wanted to make a feature film on the gurus. But I could not do it with them and their families as they had refused. Then I had no choice but to make an animation film. So, I was ready to take the risk and go ahead with it," he told PTI in an interview.
Harry has now directed "Chaar Sahibzaade - Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur", which is the sequel of the first movie. It has been produced by his wife Pammi Baweja.
The animation and 3-D effect in the movie has been done by Prime Focus.
"When the last film got released, I got the response that the quality is not as good as Pixar. Then I looked at the budget of Pixar and it was Rs 1800 crores. I did not even have 1 per cent of that to make the last film.
"Chaar Sahibzaade - Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur" is slated to release on November 11 in three languages -- Punjabi, Hindi and English.
