The 32-year-old actress, who has a two-year-old son Aleph with her husband Benjamin Millepied, believes there are no specific rules when it comes to being a parent, reported Contactmusic.
"I love being a mum. I'm less judgemental than before I had a kid. The biggest thing about parenting is that it is a totally different experience for every person," Portman said.
"Everything is cool, there are no rules - I mean, apart from not hurting your kid. There are no rules about what it means to be a feminist, or a good mother. For some, it's going to be right to go back to work, for others it's going to be right to stop working completely," she added.
