"I was never a huge horror fan to be honest. As for why zombies are so popular, I really have no idea. For me World War Z is all about the story. The zombies are the threat but the themes are much wider than that," he said.
Pitt and fiancee Angelina Jolie had recently attended the Berlin premiere of the horror movie.
