I'm not a package pop star: FKA Twigs

Pop star FKA Twigs thinks artists are too afraid to express themselves because "they think that's a bit too weird".
The "Pendulum" hitmaker, who is engaged to Robert Pattinson, said she is "a bit mad" but that is a good thing because it allows her to be herself in her music, reported Contactmusic.
"From my brain. I think I'm a bit mad. I don't even think it's that. I think other people have ideas, but they think that's a bit too weird...
"I just believe it's really important to push intelligence. I don't want to push boundaries, I want to push ideas," she said.

When it comes to her schedule and the projects she chooses to take on FKA Twigs - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - is solely in control of everything.
"No one tells me what to do. I'm not like a package pop star. For my next album I want to write my own music because it'll make me feel more in control of my career. This is what I've always been.
