I was under enormous pressure: Mischa Barton

Actress Mischa Barton, who rose to stardom at the age of 17 with hit teen drama 'The OC', says she was under a lot of pressure when her partying ways took a turn for the worse.
The 27-year-old actress in the latest issue of People magazine opened about suffering from what she described as a "full-on breakdown" in 2009.
Barton's trouble began when she was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs) in 2007. Two years later she blacked out after taking a sedative and ended up in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center psychiatric ward.
"We thought, 'Work hard, play hard'," Barton said, while recollecting her struggle of those days.

"It was a full-on breakdown. I was under enormous pressure," Barton added.
However, the actress feels much stronger now.
"I've learned a lot. I'm stronger now," she said.
