The 43-year-old "Beasts of No Nation" star, who plays Krall in the latest installment, gave finishing touches on the work that helped overcome his longtime existing fear for heights, reported Digital Spy.
The massive wall painting features Chris Pine's Kirk, as well as Zachary Quinto's Spock and baddie Krall.
"I'm a little bit nervous of heights, but I put that aside, and I've never done it before. And if you look close, there's a couple of scuff marks. Those are mine," the actor said.
"It moves me to tears, actually. It's a sign of my work," he added.
