Producer Ritesh Sidhwani says if there is a need to rope in Pakistani actress Mahira Khan for the promotions of "Raaes" she will come here as he does not feel there will be a problem in her getting the visa.
There was a demand to ban Pakistani artistes from right wing groups post the Uri attack in September, which almost stalled the release of Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" because it had Fawad Khan in a cameo.
When asked if Mahira will come to promote the film in India, Sidhwani said, "I think when we start the promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her, bring her here, we will do it. I don't think there will be any restriction for her from the government or issuing visa to her will be a problem. We will decide about her involvement."
In the trailer Shah Rukh is seen romancing Mahira and when asked about his experience about working with her Shah Rukh said, "It was very nice."
When prodded further if the makers fear another backlash, Shah Rukh interrupted, saying Sidhwani has already answered the question.
The Rahul Dholakia-helmed film "Raaes" also stars Nawazuddin Siddqui and is now set to release on January 25. The movie was earlier scheduled to land in theatres on the Republic Day.
