The 'Los Hongos' actress, who is on her maiden visit to India, was introduced as Alicia Garcia on the event schedule, leaving journalists in tizzy.
"Her name was wrongly mentioned as Alicia, but we corrected the mistake at the last minute when the name plate was changed to her original name," said one of the organisers.
The actress was unfazed by the goof-up in her name during the press conference for her film 'Los Hongos' in IFFI's International Cinema section.
Both the stars were literally mobbed by the over-enthusiastic fans.
