IIIT to be set up in Manipur

An Indian Institute of
Information Technology (IIIT) will be set up in Senapati in Manipur under Public Private Partnership (PPP), Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh has said.
A delegation of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Develpment has recently visited the state and discussed establishing of an IIIT in the state, Singh said at a function here yesterday.
"The state government is doing its best to sign an agreement with the ministry before imposition of Code of Conduct for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections," he said.
